Maui’s largest thrift shop – Secondhand Heaven – opened for business in the community hall building at Makawao Union Church in 2018. We have grown from one 500-square-foot room to 3500 square feet in 9 rooms on 4 levels.
We offer housewares, linens, artwork, office supplies, books, arts’n’crafts, party and holiday supplies, clothing, CDs and DVDs, furniture, sports equipment, toys and puzzles, jewelry, and a large selection of collectibles and gifts. All items for babies and toddlers – clothing, toys, books, furniture and accessories – are free. The shop serves the Maui community with high quality, gently used merchandise at low prices.The revenue is used for the restoration and maintenance of the Makawao Union Church buildings, which are more than 115 years old.
Secondhand Heaven relies on an all-volunteer team to sort and price donations and keep the shelves stocked. If you’d like to volunteer for a shift just let one of us know when you visit our shop.keep up-to-date
